The Function Centre is in Caulfield (Melways 68 E1) 8 kilometres south east of the city of Melbourne, close to all public transport and with plenty of parking.

Cars and taxis
From the city, travel east along Dandenong Road or the South Eastern Arterial. The turnoff to the racecourse is clearly signed.
Enter at Gate 2 from Station Street and use free parking in Kambrook car park.

Public Transport
Rail and tram services are frequent in peak hours: every ten to fifteen minutes.Buses also serve the area.
- Rail: Caulfield Station is in Zone 1. Catch any train from the city on the Frankston or Dandenong lines. The trip takes 15 minutes by express train from Flinders Street Station in Melbourne. The venue is 3 minutes walk from the Caulfield station. A Zone 1 daily ticket will cost $6.10 (January 2006 rate) and allow you on city trams as well. For a list of all fares go to MetLink fares page
- Tram: Route 003 East Malvern - Melbourne University (via City) travels along Swanston Street, Melbourne to Normanby Road, Caulfield. Alight at stop 52 just near the main gate of the racecourse.The trip takes 25 minutes. Trams leave every 12 minutes.
- Bus: Route 624 Kew to Oakleigh.
